Description

comprising two sahans, each with a shallow rounded dish with everted rim and stepped domed cover surmounted by a metal foliate bud finial, decorated in overglaze enamels and gilding with floral sprays interspersed with a diamond trellis, one with a blue and the other a yellow background, old collector's label to base of blue sahan

Condition

Both in general good condition, some restorations, hairline cracks to interior of both bowls and covers, with flaking and discoloration to interior of bowl and covers of blue background sahan, the exterior with some rubbing to gilding on both and flakes to enamel with some associated repairs and associated overpainting, particularly on blue sahan, as viewed.
