Arabic manuscript on polished cream paper, 43 leaves plus 2 flyleaves, 5 lines to the page, written in bold muhaqqaq script in black ink, surah headings in red thuluth script, contemporary morocco binding tooled with a geometric pattern of interlocking ploygons, the interstices punched and tooled with knotted motifs, pressure moulded foliate doublures, bookplate reading 'ex libris Lewis Einstein'
