- 43cm, 17in high
the oval barrel very finely carved with the Judgement of Paris, accompanied by further gods and goddesses, the silver mounts chased wuth panels of masks and fruit, the handle formed as Pan, the finial cast as Hebe, cupbearer of the Gods, Nuremberg prestige marks
Condition
finial squashed at an angle into lid, some traces of repair in several places on silver base and hole on rim cover, ivory in very good condition.
