Condition
Good general condition. Some weaer to ebonising to frames which can easily be restored. There is occasional craquelure in the hand-colouring in the image, a few repaired tears in the image, some pale scattered fox marks and other minor defects. Un examined out of frames.

Catalogue Note
These engravings are part of a series of eight, entitled Roman Frescos of the Villa Negroni. Each plate shows a different wall of the so-called Villa Negroni which was excavated in Rome near the ABths of Diocletian in July 1777. The series was engraved by Angelo Campanella after drawings by Anton Raphael Mengs and Antonvon Maron.
