- non-engdangered Mahogany and Indian rosewood
- 258cm. high, 220cm. wide, 63cm. deep; 8ft. 5½in., 7ft. 2¾in., 2ft. ¾in.
with a swan-neck pediment above four glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the cylinder flap opening on a slide, enclosing ten small drawers, two dummy drawers and pigeonholes and with a replaced leather inset with a reading slope on a ratchet, above four long drawers, flanked by cupboard doors one enclosing a shelf, the other two drawers and a shelf
Condition
In overall good condition. Excellent colour and patination. Some age cracks to dummy cylinder falls flanking central compartment. and also to main fall. The interior has some inkstains and the veneer is lifting back right hand side. Replaced leather to interior. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
