white enamel dial with Turkish numerals and signed Markwick, Markham, Perigal, London, subsidiary chime/silent and tune selection dials all on a silver ground enamelled with flowers and stylised leaves, the three train fusee movement with anchor escapement and playing four tunes on a nest of bells and striking the hour on a further bell, the backplate with engraved border and signed as the dial, the case with domed top and flambeau finials above broken-arch mouldings, canted corners and moulded base, the whole applied with finely chased rococo scroll and flower mounts and frets, on scroll feet

Dial has damage around right winding hole, damage and star crack to centre of tune selection dial, minor damage to surround below VI. Movement is complete but very dirty and will require complete service and overhaul, escapement running at time of cataloguing, tunes playing intermittently and requiring adjustment. Case in generally good condition, dome detachable, some old cracks and minor repairs but othwise good. With a damaged pendulum and a winder but no case keys.
