one depicting a harbour, another a riverside scene, another a harbour scene with a religious figure and another depicting the baby Moses in a crib by a fast flowing river, all within later 19th century fruitwood frames

Condition

In overall good original condition. The painted decoration is still vibrant. The carving and detail are superb. There are some very minor losses which can be left. The frames are probably 19th century. Internally there are some minor losses to the internal decoration which are hardly noticeable. There are some hairline construction cracks at the joints of the frames commensurate with age which can be left, however, the one with the galleon has a loose moulding on the top which needs regluing and there is an iron hook on the base, the purpose of which can not be explained. Some of the elements are painted carved wood.
