Condition
This work is in very good original condition. Executed on white wove paper, not laid down. The sheet is fixed to the mount along the top edge (this has become unstuck in the upper left corner). There is a flattened crease running vertically down the centre of the composition which is inherent to the artistic process. A close inspection reveals a tiny spot of shrinkage with associated stable flaking in the pale pink pigment of the central form and some light surface scuffing to the black forms. There are two small patches of collaged paper around the tips of the lower left pink and purple form, inherent to the artistic process and not visibly linked to any condition issue visible from the reverse, which the artist has painted over with the background pattern. Apart from some light time-staining, this work is in very good original condition.
