Condition

The book is in very good original condition. There is a sticker with the lips from Man Ray's A l'heure de l'observatoire – les amoureux affixed to the mirror, probably by the first owner Arlette Albert-Birot. A close inspection reveals some light wear to the upper edge of the lid where it meets the base when closed, and to the edges of the inside of the base as well as two superficial scuffs on the reverse. The cover and spine, and all the gold lettering, remain in excellent condition.
