Condition
The bronze is sound with an attractive green and brown patina. A close inspection reveals some very light wear to the most protruding areas of the sculpture and to the inside of the bent arm. Apart from a tiny nick to the patina on the reverse of the figure’s right shoulder, this work is in very good condition.

Catalogue Note
bronze with green patina. Conceived and cast in 1952 in an unnumbered edition of eleven plus one artist's proof by the Gaskin foundry.
