Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is a bit lighter in the catalogue illustration than in the original work.
The work is executed on its original canvas, not relined.
Are only visible under very close inspection :
- scattered thin cracks located mainly in the dark brown area of the right half part of the work
- 4 pinhead sized losses of paint located along the right edge, 60 cm from the extremity of the upper right corner
- a minor careful restauration (approx. 0.8 cm) located 30 cm from the left edge and 95 cm from the upper edge.
This work is in very good condition.
