Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original.
The work is executed on a sheet of cream wove paper, floating in the mount.
Are only visble under very close inspection:
- a stabilized tear (approx.1,5 cm) along the upper edge located 30 cm from the extremity of the upper right corner
- a slight crease at the extremity of the lower left corner
- some minor light abrasions at the extremity of the corners due to previous mounting.
This work is in very good condition.
