Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the blue background (1) is more blue and less purple in the original and the green back ground (2) is darker in the original. The work (1 & 2) is executed on its original canvas, not relined. 1. Not visible on the surface of the work, located at the extremity of the lower right corner, a minor loss of paint (less than 0,2 cm) is only visible under very close inspection, when the work not framed. 2. Are only visible under very close inspection: - 4 tiny losses of paint (less than 0,2 cm each) located at the extremity of the upper right corner - 2 tiny losses of paint (from 0,1 to 0,2 cm) located at the extremity of the lower right corner. Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching. This work is in excellent condition.
