Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration. The work is executed on its original canvas and it is not relined. Very few thin cracks to the impasto are only visible under very close inspection. Located along the upper edge, 4 cm from the extremity of the upper right corner, a minor loss of paint (approx. 0,6 x 0,1 cm) is only visible under very close inspection. Under UV light, there is no evidence of any retouching. This work is in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note
