depicting a krater with gadrooned body and lobed rim, in black tesserae on a white ground.

Estate of the late Gawain McKinley Esq. (Sotheby's, New York, December 17th, 1997, no. 358, illus.)

Condition

Tesserae sunk into thick and heavy concrete slab, modern grout visible between many of the stones, note small area of chipped tesserae along right edge of neck of vessel.
