- Height without socle 23 1/4 in. 59 cm.
wearing a chiton and himation falling from his left shoulder, his head turned to his left, with full beard and curly hair radiating from the crown and falling over the forehead, temples, and nape of the neck; the tip of the beard, moustache, nose, proper right eyebrow and cheek-bone, ear rims, and part of the bust restored in marble.

Condition
Shoulders restored on the right and left side, central part of drapery orginal with four areas of restoration along folds, chin, mustache and upper lip, nose, proper left cheek bone, eyebrow, and rims of both ears restored in marble, as described, lower lip appears to be abraded away, surface somewhat weathered, various chips and abrasions as shown, mounted on later white marble socle.
