- An Attic Black-Figured Pelike, Attributed to the Class of the Red-line PS Pelike
- Terracotta
- Height 9 in. 22.9 cm.
painted on one side with a symposium scene showing Dionysos reclining on a kline, a seated maenad, and a table laden with food, and on the other side with a seated woman flanked by two confronted bulls.

Intact, areas of losses to glaze on handles, edge of rim, and below one of the scenes, minor nicks and flaking elsewhere, added white pigment worn.

Catalogue Note
In pencil on the bottom is the notation "SSW 9949" (= San Simeon Warehouse 9949). There is a also white circular label with a serrated edge over which is affixed a partially removed octagonal white label with a red outer border on which "112" is still legible.
