of Dokathismata type, lying with her slender tapering forearms folded across her abdomen, a single groove marking the spinal column and legs in back.

Acquired in the 1960s or early 1970s, probably from Wladimir Rosenbaum, Ascona, then by descent to the present owner

Condition

What remains is very good and as shown. The marble is creamy white and not reddish as in the photo. The back is a little more weathered and pitted below the waist, and there are a few small modern minor nicks.
