Condition

Measurements: Blouse: 58cm.drop, 40cm. wide across the shoulders and each arm 50cm long; Robe: 215cm. drop, 57cm. wide across the shoulders and each arm 49cm long; Chemise: 75cm. drop, 57cm wide across the shoulders and each arm 56cm long; Pantaloons: 93cm open waistband, and 152cm. drop. This is a charming outfit. The chemise is particularly fragile and has numerous weaknesses and splits, and has metal thread edging which adds to pressure on the silk. There are some stains to the seams, under arms and on pantaloons. Overall in very good condition. Lovely exuberance of colouration, design and technique of the embroidered motifs. This is a historically interesting piece, and it is not advised that it is worn.
