Catalogue Note

The Steuben Glass Company designed these plates in the 1940’s and they remained in production through the 1950’s.

The United States Ambassador to England, gave a set of these plates to Princess Elizabeth when she married Prince Philip, November 20, 1947. Another set is in the collection of the R.W. Norton Art Foundation Gallery, Shreveport, Louisiana.
