Condition

Dusky Duck - with margins, the sheet trimmed and laid down (the watermark is not visible), darkened overall by mat and light-stain, with occasional foxing and reverse foxing, the colors slightly attenuated, and other minor defects. Ruddy Duck - the print is generally in good condition, the reds slightly attenuated, the sheet trimmed (through the watermark), with margins. With soft handling creases throughout, the extreme edges with mat stain and graphite. Further mat stain on the verso, with an infrequent fox mark. Gadwall Duck - the print is generally in good condition, the colors slightly attenuated, the sheet unevenly trimmed (through the watermark), with margins. The sheet with occasional pale foxing and soft handling creases throughout, mat stain at the extreme sheet edges. The verso with further pale foxing and minor surface soiling. Red-headed Duck - the print is in generally good condition, the colors attenuated and re-colored (the red head, blue feet, and mountains in the background). The sheet trimmed, with margins, and an occasional soft handling crease throughout. An infrequent fox mark is largely contained to the margins, a small area of further mottled discoloration at right margin, the sheet edges darkened. The verso with pale mat stain and some minor surface soiling. Bemaculated Duck - the print is in generally good condition, the colors very slightly attenuated, the sheet trimmed, with margins. The sheet with occasional soft handling creases and discoloration at the extreme edges. The verso with an occasional fox mark and minor surface soiling. American Widgeon - the print is in generally good condition, the colors very slightly attenuated, the sheet trimmed, with margins. The sheet with occasional soft handling creases, a few inconspicuous areas of abrasion in the unprinted areas, and discoloration at the extreme sheet edges. The verso with an occasional fox mark and minor surface soiling.
