Condition

With margins, trimmed almost to the plate (the date of the watermark trimmed away), generally in good condition, except the colors slightly attenuated. There are two skillfully repaired tears at the plate and sheet numbers, a tiny tear in the unprinted sky at right, and a short, hard crease across the lower right sheet corner. Pale traces of discoloration at the sheet edges, with additional nicks and tiny tears, most also skillfully repaired and mainly visible from the verso. The verso backed with Japan.
