Accompanied by a pair of mahogany serving trays.  The sideboard and cellaret each with a printed paper label with KNITTLE COLLECTION / Auctioned / Nov. 19624 pieces.

Condition

The secondary woods are white pine and poplar. The capitals and bases to the inner pilasters are replaced; proper left back pilaster with replaced wood capital; ormolu capitals slightly loose; proper left and right bottom corners of fold-down central frieze cupboard with losses; accompanying trays with minor cracks and loose; ormolu with some oxidation and minor losses to gilding; minor chips and losses to veneers throughout; front carved feet have been re-vert-antiqued and re-gilded and appearing to retain some original vert-antique decoration underneath; minor finish loss to proper right front edge of top; please note that this sideboard never had a mirrored backplate; proper left upright to backsplash with a replaced collar moldings. The cellaret with loss to one claw of proper left front foot; the bottom edge of the front apron with small losses and a patch to the veneer. One piece with a label with red printed accession number L81.61 a.
