Cresting ends in volutes, scalloped apron. Very fine example of its type. / Purchase Dec. ? prob prior to 1930 for Xmas present for mother from Ruth W. Lee, Pittsford, N.Y. for $450.00 - Later reclaimed after mother's death. / Used by Mother as desk chair at Hyannis Port Now (since 1957) R.H.L.'s desk chair at Princeton. Has seat cover of light colored plain material.
