Worked in silk stitches on a linen ground with bands of alphabets, a pious verse, trees and a gazebo. Inscribed Sarah D. White in the fourteenth year of her age, A.D. 1807. In an ogee molded wood frame with original pine backing.
Provenance
Descended in the family of the stitcher, Massachusetts and Rhode Island to the present owner.
