Condition
The following condition report has been prepared by Julius Lowy Art Conservation: The artwork is a red conte drawing executed on paper which has been lined to a thin Japanese mulberry tissue. The drawing exhibits minor planar distortions throughout along with slight rippling at the bottom center edge as well as the lower right edge. There are also two small creases at the lower right corner and a previously mended tear at within the same area. The piece has been hinged to at all four corners to a piece of 2 ply archival rag board. The conte media layers are in good and stable condition with some slight smudging which may have occurred during execution. Ultraviolet examination reveals a normal fluorescence of the artist's materials with no presence of prior retouching. The artwork is clean and in very good condition overall.
