Condition
Good condition for an object of this type. General minor marks, nicks, scratches, and abrasions throughout. Inconsistencies in surface of clay and from firing process as expected. Chip to outside edge of one foot. Lateral hairline cracks at center on one side where two lobes diverge, running up to rim and down into one lobe, with some paint added to this area. Smaller hairline crack at center on the other side and another hairline crack one-third of the way up one lobe on the same side, also with paint. A surface aperture filled with wax near this crack. Some other tiny surface cracks from firing. Firing cracks to undersides with applied black pigment to stabilize.
