Condition
Good condition for an object of this type and age. Minor marks, scratches, and small nicks from age and handling. Wear to hole in tip and to remaining holes around base. Old shallow chip at one side of tip, patinated over. More recent chipping around base, as seen in catalogue photograph. Rubbed from long period of handling. Exceptionally fine golden ivory patina. The Carlebach Gallery number "28502" painted in white near tip.
