Description

Suspending a modified pear-shaped step-cut emerald from a necklace composed of lines of baguette diamonds, highlighted with pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, inner circumference approximately 370mm, numbered, maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Maker's mark WB, numbered 2675. The emerald is of homogeneous green colour with typical eye visible inclusions; it exhibits multiple nicks, scratches, abrasions and some surface reaching inclusions, the most notable at the girdle extending to the crown and pavilion, for further details please refer to the Gübelin report. Central diamond estimated to weigh approximately 2.50 carats, in our experts' opinion of G colour, VS clarity; smaller diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 24.00 - 25.00 carats of similar colour and clarity. Clasp secure with safety catch below. Minor solder marks to one decorating elements. Normal signs of wear to the metal, scratches and indentations consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
