Sapphire and diamond necklace, Cartier

Set with oval and circular-cut sapphires, brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, length approximately 400mm, signed Cartier and numbered, French assay and indistinct maker's marks.

Stamped PT900 for platinum and OR for gold. French assay marks. Signed Cartier on clasp and numbered 04351. Sapphires of a blue to dark blue hue, well matched in colour. Some typical crystal inclusions visible with the aid of a 10x loupe, few scratches, nicks and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 4.00 carats in total, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
