Condition

Overall in good condition. With early switches. Presently not wired. The gilt metal with some with discoloration, rubbing and surface scratches throughout. With some possible evidence of later patination or over-painting in places. The glass beads with surface dirt. Glass beading, particularly the fringe on each shade, is very delicate and prone to detaching. One sconce with approximately eight lengths of beaded fringe missing from the shades, the other with approximately nine. Additional loose beads available in a separate bag. Sotheby's cannot attest to the electrical stability of this lot.
