Condition
Overall in very good condition. The glass top with surface scratches and a few minute edge nicks. The top with two small old adjacent losses, the larger measuring 1/8 of an inch. Each of the three bent glass components forming the pedestal base with minute indentations along sides, and the top with two indentations that are inherent to the production process. The stained oak base with rubbing, some abrasions, scratches and nicks around the edge consistent with age and use. The four triangular wood blocks that join the glass pedestal components to the base show signs of rubbing around edges adjacent to the glass and also some possible re-finishing on exposed edges. The gilt metal hardware is original and in good condition. Please note that the glass top is original and engraved 'Glace Securit.' The table is presently slightly loose and would benefit from an overall tightening.
