Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 12 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The reticulated bronze branches ornamenting the top register of the shade are incredibly well chased, displaying exquisite detail to the branching and an exceptionally rich russet brown and green patina. The patinated bronze Tree base is also in very good condition and like the shade displays incredibly fine detail to the articulation of the branching as well as a rich russet brown and green patina. The patinated bronze surfaces show minimal surface wear, gentle rubbing and some surface soiling to the recessed contours consistent with age and gentle use. The bronze base switch and sockets all appear to be original and undisturbed. A beautiful example of the model displaying a highly naturalistic and artistic glass selection most notably distinguished by the soft color palette articulating the wisteria clusters (including soft pinks, lavenders, cobalts, mint greens and opalescent whites), and the effective use of fractured “Confetti” glass as an accent throughout the background passages.
