Condition

Overall in good condition. The vase has been examined under blacklight and shows no evidence of prior restoration. The irregularities to the surface and glaze application are inherent in the making and not an issue of condition. The outer edge of the flared lip with a minor loss, measuring 1/4 by 1/8 inch. The area is stable at present but would benefit from minor restoration. The vase when viewed in person displays beautifully with significantly varied tones in the glazes.
