Condition
Overall in very good condition. With a few occasional very minor and light surface scratches. The top surface of the bowl with a few minute-sized dust particles which appear to have adhered to the surface of the glass during the making. The top outer rim of the compote is beautifully embellished with a hand-carved butterfly. A lovely object displaying charming scale, spectacular color and intense luminosity to the iridized surfaces throughout. The compote is far more saturated in color than seen in the catalogue illustration, which is under-saturated and over lit resulting in reflective highlights.
