Condition
Overall very good original condition. When examined under blacklight, the bowl shows no evidence of prior restoration. The bowl is hand-thrown and presents with minor inconsistencies to the surface and the rim is slightly uneven, which are inherent in making and not a result of condition. This bowl exhibits significant depth in the range of colors in the glazes displaying bright yellow tones, vivid greens and bright turquoise. The base of the interior is executed using a turquoise crystalline glaze, which is also applied in isolated areas to the exterior of the body. The depth of colors and strength of tone display more vividly in person than in the catalogue illustration. A very detailed example of the work by the Natzlers.
