Condition

Overall excellent condition. When examined under blacklight the vase shows no evidence of prior restoration. When viewed vase is slightly less red in tone than it appears on the cover of the auction catalogue. The photograph of the vase within the auction catalogue is more accurate to its true color. The vase is executed using a medium brown colored glaze and then additional glazes ranging from red, russet brown, green add the depth of color to this stunning example. With some minor irregularities to the surface which are inherent in the design and glaze work. A large scale example showing beautiful intricacy to the glaze work.
