Overall in fair condition. Set with its original marble slab now showing extensive scratches consistent with use, very minute chips to edges, and with repaired corner to the proper back left and side. The cabinet with the usual minor scratches, chips and nicks, consistent with age and use. The finely engraved ivory inlays show some yellowing, as well as minute losses. The proper right side door shows a vertical crack due to age running alongside the shoulder and arm of the standing figure beneath the canopy; the crack does not run through the depth of the door. The stepped moulding of the base shows construction seams, later restoration now showing the glue and some restoration now showing nails. The ivory inlays are not lifting.
