Catalogue Note
Exhibited at Milan Triennale IX in 1951, works from this extremely rare series of clear glass decorated with floral murrine were created for a private client in Paris, and do not appear in Venini's Catalogo Rosso. A small bowl from the series was sold at Christie's New York, November 30, 2000, Lot 62, from "An Important Private Collection of Italian Glass."
