Condition
STUCTURE
The picture has been relined and is in good condition with strong colours throughout. There are areas of craquelure throughout the sky and the sea but these appear to be stable.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV reveals an area of retouching to the left of the girl's head and minor retouchings on her clothes and other very small retouchings on the clothes of the child. There are other retouchings in the sky and elsewhere.
FRAME
Held in an ebonised wooden frame (some minor damages).
