STRUCTURE
Farm Yard Scene's canvas is original. Tranquility Farmyard is relined.
There is a spot of staining and some frame abrasion along the lower edge in Farm Yard Scene. The other work has some very minor craquelure to the horses, only visible upon close inspection. Otherwise both works are in good overall condition.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
Ultraviolet light reveals a few scattered flecked retouchings to isolated areas of both works.
FRAME
Both held in gilt plaster frames.
