Condition

Illustration is slightly too red. Tortoise shell is actually darker. Good restored condition. A small metallic stem in the middle of the top (which does not appear on the image) allows to hold a sculpture on the pedestal. Very thin pieces of tortoise shell missing on the back of the base. Very refined brass work on all sides and with a cypher on the front "LGD". Delicate and attractive pedestal.
