Condition

Unexamined out of frame and under glass. This work is in good condition and is ready to hang. CONSERVATOR'S REPORT (10 November 2011) Support This watercolour is fully encased in an overlay mount, which is covering the edges. The support sheet for the watercolour does not appear to be fully laid down to another sheet or board as it is rising up and undulating in the mount. As far as can be determined the paper is in a good condition, though there is probably some discolouration as it has been framed, probably for many years. Medium The watercolour medium is in a good condition, though I suggest it is a little faded. Conservation Note This drawing, for its long-term conservation needs to be removed from its present mounting, and flattened.
