Condition
The work is generally in satisfactory condition. There is an area of cracklure and paint flaking near the lower right edge; a small spot of paint loss around the lower right corner; several round shapes abrasion near the top right corner; a linear cover crack on the right palm of the female figure; the top left corner of the wood stretcher is chipped resulting in unevenness of the canvas; several very fine cracks on the right face of the left figure, no longer than 4 cm, stretching from the temple of his right head to the background. Fine cover craquelures appear on the upper half which is contained in the background and not the figures. Otherwise, the work is in generally satisfactory condition. Please note that it was not examined under ultraviolet light.
