Manuscript document signed ("L. Hall") as Governor of Georgia, half sheet (5 3/4 x 9 1/8 in.; 148 x 232 mm), Savannah, 24 September 1783, being a land grant to a Captain John Ducour of the Georgia line of 300 acres from the state of George and an additional 300 acres by resolution of Congress, several dockets on verso including Ducour's signature; inlaid, loss to left margin costing one word and touching two others, and three lines of a docket on verso. Blue linen folding case, blue morocco spine lettered gilt; spine faded to teal.
