Condition
The panel is sound.
There is a tiny surface abrasion to the centre of the sky, measuring less than 1cm in length. Otherwise the work is in excellent original condition with areas of strong impasto.
Ultraviolet light reveals a few small areas of retouching along the upper right edge, and a further area corresponding to the aforementioned abrasion.
Held under glass in a gilt plaster frame; unexamined out of frame.
