lobed, painted with pairs of exotic birds within gilded-scroll edged cartouches
Provenance
Purchased from H.E. Backer Antiques 9th September, 1952 for £22, formerly in the Collection of Mrs. Dickson.
Condition
There are some minor scratches to the enamels. This is most noticeable in the grass around the area where the peacock is standing in the centre of the plate. The red enamel on the peacock's neck is a little worn also. The reverse of the plate has some fire-specking.
