  • interlaced Ls enclosing dateletters EE for 1782, unidentified gilder's mark g. or 9 all gilded, cup with incised z or N

  • cup 4.6cm., 1¾in, saucer 10.6cm., 4¼in.
gobelet litron of the fourth size, the green ground decorated with a border of translucent enamel anthemions and, in the centre, a bouquet of flowers, edged with rows of opaque enamel pearls

Possibly identifiable as purchased from H. E. Backer Antiques, September 1948, for £25.

Condition

saucer: the jewelled row of pearls in the base has a few missing with a few also slightly damaged. cup: one translucent orange enamel petal of the flower in one bouquet is missing. In the same bouquet a few minute dots of translucent enamel are also missing.
