- interlaced Ls mark enclosing dateletters cc for 1780, mark of a scrolling F, possibly for the painter and gilder Jean-Armand Fallot, cup with incised 45, saucer with C, Wilfrid Evill Collection Label

gobelet litron et soucoupe of the second size, the turquoise ground reserved with miniature classical scenes of putti en camaïeu rose, the rims with wreaths, wear to gilding
Provenance
Probably purchased from H.E. Backer for £12 in 1944.
Condition
There is a shallow chip under the footrim of the saucer approximately 1cm long. There is a very little rubbing to the gilding on the cup. There is a shallow chip to the exterior rim of the saucer (only visiblr from the side) 4mm wide approximately. The gilded frieze linking the cameo panels on the saucer has entirely disappeared and the gilded lines have a little rubbing, this is most noticeable on the line around the bottom of the saucer's sloping sides. Adjacent to this the enamelled garland has a little rubbing also.
