Catalogue Note

Although Morin is particularly associated with harbour scenes, when he first joined the factory, circa 1754-58, he is recorded as having painted cherubs on clouds and in landscapes.  See Rosalind Savill, The Wallace Collection Catalogue of Sèvres Porcelain, 1988, Vol. III, pp. 1051.
